I'm Roberta Bensky, an ICF and Gestalt-certified coach. I've changed careers, countries and languages, so I know how hard change can be, and what it looks like on the other side. Whether you're stepping into a bigger role or navigating an unexpected transition, you don't have to do it alone.

CAREER TRANSITIONS & GESTALT COACHING

Change may not start with a decision. It can start with a sense that something no longer fits.

ABOUT ME

I know what it’s like to feel stuck. I also know what it takes to start again, because I’ve changed careers, countries and languages.

For more than 20 years I held management roles at the World Bank, the OECD, the Norwegian Red Cross and the Norwegian Refugee Council, living and working in six countries along the way. Each move meant learning a new culture, often a new language, and finding my footing all over again. Those experiences taught me that change rarely arrives neatly, and that it’s possible to come through it with more clarity and confidence than before.

Today I work with people facing change at any stage of life and career: stepping into a first leadership role, rethinking a career midway, returning to work after a break, recovering from burnout or a setback, or shaping what comes next in a new chapter of life. Whatever your field, I bring both professional coaching training and the lived experience of transition to help you navigate your own.

I've been through it myself

Two decades of leading teams taught me the pressures of managing, being managed, and knowing when it’s time for something new.
